When my daughter was first being introduced to writing her own poetry, I wanted to create a resource that she could use independently. I created a series of simple poetry definitions, examples, and frames for her use.

This file comes in two forms – a packet version to be printed and used as poetry styles are introduced, and the same information in a flip book version. The flip book can be used for reference – perfect for lower elementary aged students who want to create many different poetry books.
