This product contains instructions, headers, definitions, along with 8 sets of subject, appositive, and predicate sentence component strips aligned with both Montessori and The Writing Revolution. Explicitly studying different sentence patterns improves students writing, and working within a content area solidifies knowledge.

All sentences are US Government themed providing students opportunity to reinforce content learning in that area.

Students lay out the header cards, defining subject, appositive, and predicate, then sort the strips. Students can copy the sorted strips into their journals, and continue to write their own sentences using these as inspiration.

Strips are color coded as a control of error.
