This product contains instructions, headers, definitions, and 16 sentence strips aligned with both Montessori and The Writing Revolution.

Sentence strips are American Revolution themed providing students opportunity to reinforce content learning in that area. There are 4 statements sentences, 4 questions, 4 commands, and 4 exclamations.

Two activity levels are provided – in Level 1 all sentences include punctuation, providing a hint to the sentence type. Level 2 sentences have punctuation removed requiring greater engagement from the student.

Students lay out the header cards, then sort the strips. Students can copy the sorted strips into their journals adding correct punctuation.

Control chart included for independent checking of work.
